Friends of the Farmdog and other neat stuff!!
Things that the Farmdog likes, that don't really fit anywhere else on my web site.
I have friends from all over the World, who mean the world to me. I also have diverse interests, such as old cars, old trucks, new trucks, airplanes, helicopters, dogs, horses, R/C aircraft, neat houses, and much more. Here, you will find pics that mean something to me.

My Okinawa Wheels, and Kaoru
Here is my buddy Greg Yeiser's new truck. Greg and I go back to the good old days at Lafayette High School NJROTC. Greg is now a Lexington fire fighter, and packs heat in an armored car in his spare time. I asked him to send me a pic of his ride for my web page, and he gladly obliged. Greg is one good egg, and goes by georgefire.

Check out that front end!
I don't know who this woman is, and this truck isn't mine, but I have one like it. It's a '53 Ford F-100, yellow, that's been waiting for me to be back in the States again to restore it since 1992. Plans are to lower it, put in Mustang II IFS, Vintage Air Conditioning, and lots of other cool stuff. Hey, a guy can dream, can't he? |

My 1972 Mach 1
This is my Mustang, purchased from a dealer in the St. Louis area over the internet. It was trucked to Pensacola, where it has been lovingly restored and taken care of by my two buddies, Stevie Stedfelt and Billy Webb. It now resides in Billy's brand-new four car garage. It has a green interior, and is powered by a 351 Cleveland. As good as it looks in this picture, it is even better now.

My Mach 1 after restoration
Here is the finished product. Note the addition of the Magnum 500 wheels, which makes a big difference. This car turns heads on the streets, and is a blast to drive. It's a regular time capsule, and I can't thank my buddies Steve and Billy enough.

My other car
An e-bay purchase, and an expensive lesson in how Carpe Dium can turn into Caveat Emtor! It's a 1978 Corvette Pace Car, which is the Corvette I've always wanted. I had a boss ten years ago who was willing to sell me his for ,000, which I couldn't afford at the time, and I've followed the rising prices ever since. One day, coming back from lunch, I went to e-bay, and on a whim, typed in "1978 Pace Car". This popped up, with 22 minutes to go in the auction. I debated and debated, and with two minutes to go, I bid and won. I then flew to San Francisco to claim it, and it was a wreck! It was trucked to Pensacola, where it is undergoing a very expensive restoration. I'll include pictures when it's done.
